How do I change the size of my MS SQL 2005 database?

Note: The following information pertains only to MS SQL products associated with Windows plans. Some features described are not available for all accounts, and may appear differently in your Control Panel interface.

To Change Your MS SQL 2005 Database Size:

• From your Hosting Control Panel, click MS SQL Control Panel. The SQL Server Management window appears.

Note: This page may take a few minutes to load.

• Click Manage for the database you want. The Manage SQL Database window appears.

If you have not yet upgraded your MS SQL database, you are taken to the Manage SQL Database window to perform the upgrade. You must upgrade your database in order to use this feature.

• Under SQL Database Statistics, click Resize Database. An editable field appears.

Note: You cannot resize your primary database. All databases must be at least 50MB in size.

• Type the number in megabytes (MB) you want for your database.
• Click Resize Database. The Manage SQL Database window refreshes with a confirmation message.
