How do I manage websites contained in my AppPool?

Note: This article describes features associated with Windows plans. Some features are not available for all accounts, and may appear differently in your Control Panel interface. If you want to use this feature but do not have it, please call sales.

To Move your Web Site to a different AppPool:

• On the Hosting Control Panel, click AppPool Settings. The Application Pool Management window appears.
• Click Sites for the AppPool you want to manage. The AppPool Summary Sites Listing window appears.

Note: You can also access this page from the Site Details page for your Web Site by clicking AppPool/Site Isolation.

• Click Move under the Web Site you want to move. The Move Site to which AppPool drop-down menu appears.
• Click the Move Site to which AppPool drop-down menu and select the AppPool you want to move the Web Site into.
• Click Move Site. The AppPool Summary Sites Listing window appears displaying the Web Site in the new AppPool.

Note: If you don't want to make this change, click Cancel Move.

To Isolate your Web Site:

Note: Isolating a Web Site keeps it secure from other Web Sites sharing an AppPool.

• On the Hosting Control Panel, click AppPool Settings. The Application Pool Management window appears.
• Click Sites. The AppPool Summary Sites Listing window appears.

Note: You can also access this page from the Site Details page for your Web Site by clicking AppPool/Site Isolation.

• Click Isolate. The AppPool Summary Sites Listing window appears displaying the Web Site in the new AppPool.
