Yes. Depending on your plan, you will have access to your account using either SSH (Secure Shell) or Telnet.
Important:
We strongly discourage the use of Telnet to connect to your server, because Telnet is not secure.
Using SSH and Telnet Clients
Shell access is a fundamental component of efficient remote administration. Using a Secure Shell (SSH) client, customers can securely log in to your account from anywhere and manage it.

Using an SSH Client
The SSH protocol can log into a remote machine (your account) and provide secure encrypted communications between your account and your local computer. Communication through an SSH client is executed through encrypted channels to and from your account.
