ShopSite reports show both the number of hits and visitors to your store, so you shouldn’t need to add a "hit counter." If you want to add a hit counter anyway, the specific instructions for each vary somewhat. Most require you to paste some HT ML into your page, and you can use the Text 3 field on your store’s main page for that. If the hit counter requires you to put any code into the <head> section of your page, you cannot do it with ShopSite Starter. For ShopSite Pro and ShopSite Manager, you can put the code into the Meta description field.
